From framing to finish work

He started with labour jobs for family, then spent his high school years working for a residential framing and renovation company in Central Alberta.

From there he worked through nearly every phase of building and remodelling: drywall, finish carpentry, siding, soffit, fascia, decking and shingling. Roofing came next, with a specialty in architectural sheet metal and custom decks.

While in college, he owned and ran a student painting franchise in Central Alberta, and he was recognized nationally as one of the top sales and operations reps in the country. That is where painting stopped being one trade among many and became the business.

A painter who has framed walls, hung drywall and trimmed out windows knows what is under the paint. Where moisture gets in. Why a coating failed the last time. Problems get spotted before they get painted over, and surfaces get prepared the way the product needs, not the way that is fastest.

What to expect

The price is quoted before the work starts, with a timeline attached, and you get updates as the job moves. If anything changes, you hear about it before it happens. And you do not pay until the job is finished and you are happy with the result.

Precision Paint is based at 101-5913 50 Ave in Red Deer and works across Central Alberta, with jobs on the record as far as Calgary.
